Online Donation - San Ignacio Project Bus Fund
Project Bus emerged as a result of the initiative of two local high school students: Akash Patel and Ian Torbett, who are currently attending the Pacific Ridge School in Carlsbad. Akash and Ian learned about the need of a library for the children at San Ignacio Lagoon. Concurrently they were also made aware that the local elementary school was facing a dilemma of what to do about an abandoned school bus that was no longer operable and was now collecting dust and spider webs and becoming an eye sore in the community. The proposed solution by Akash and Ian was the idea of Project Bus with a focus on conversion of the abandoned school bus into a library for school children and the community of San Ignacio Lagoon, Baja California Sur.
