Online Donation - Becas de Vallarta Fund

Becas Vallarta's mission is to raise money to fund scholarships for as many of Puerto Vallarta’s youth, 8th grade through university, as money will allow. The recipients must meet these criteria: attend a public school, maintain a grade point average of 8.5 out of a possible 10.0, be in dire economic straits, be a good citizen in school, at home and in the community plus exhibit a keen desire to receive an education. Once a student is accepted, she or he will maintain the scholarship through university as long as the criteria continue to be met.

Currently, Becas Vallarta is sponsoring 112 students in Junior High School, 115 students in high School and 76 students in University. Annual scholarships are $160 for Junior High, $550 for Senior High School and $700 for University for a total annual cost of $135,000.
